Ariel Tweto, a well-known TV personality and pilot in her profession, is one of the most well-known personalities of South Africa. The parents of her met while her dad was located in Alaska as a professional hockey player, trying to inspire interest for the sport. Her father fell in love and then married her mother. The couple later founded an aviation company called Era Alaska aviation company. Ariel as well as Alya were raised in Nome in the state of Alaska.
