Walker was born on the 26th of June, 1976, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania United States of America. Walker is an American citizen with African descendance. She has parents named Harvey Welker who is Native American as well as Julie Welker who is African-American. Her mother works as an agent while her father is a civil engineer. Walker completed her education at The Germantown Friends School (Germantown area) in Philadelphia where she graduated in 1994. When she graduated at Harvard College in 1998, she went to Harvard College and earned her Bachelor of Arts.
